A no-code blueprint for Shopify brands in regulated spaces (CBD / hemp, health & wellness, etc.).
This guide is for educational purposes only and is not legal advice.
Why a Separate, “Clean” Domain?
Meta scans every destination URL and treats it just like your ad creative. If the page (or even the root domain) contains restricted terms, medical claims, or checkout links for prohibited products, your entire ad account can be flagged. A fresh domain keeps that risk isolated.
Choose & Verify Your New Domain
Step | Action |
---|---|
1️⃣ | Register a short, brand-neutral .com (example: zenbotanics-info.com). |
2️⃣ | Add the domain in Business Settings › Brand Safety › Domains and complete Meta’s TXT-record or HTML-file verification. |
Pro-tip: Don’t reuse any sub-domains of your main site—the whole root is scanned.

Plan the Click Journey & Analytics
Goal | How |
---|---|
Keep Meta blind to the “real” store. | All ads link only to the clean domain. |
Preserve attribution. | When user clicks CTA → Popsixle will session-stitch and fire events from the clean domain once you enable domain masking (next article). |
Track quality traffic. | Install a brand-new Meta Pixel on the landing page now; you’ll connect Popsixle later. |
Heads-up: Using your old pixel can resurface past policy flags. Start fresh.
Next Up → Launch & Verify (Link)
You’ve mapped the domain, copy, and layout. In the next guide we’ll:
-
Publish the landing page in Shopify (or Webflow/Unbounce).
-
Install the new pixel and verify real-time events.
-
Connect your Popsixle account for domain masking & session stitching.
