Why turn off the Shopify TikTok CAPI connection?
Leaving the Shopify CAPI connection on can lead to duplicate events firing in your account and TikTok taking more credit for your purchases than it deserves.
How to turn off the TikTok CAPI connection?
Navigate to the TikTok Sales Channel in your Shopify Store
Go to Settings --> Data sharing
Reduce the data sharing setting to Standard and click the Confirm button
Note: if the language of the options do not match with these screenshots reduce the data sharing option to the choice on the far left where data is only being shared via the pixel
